During the last 10 years, Alan Sardella has consulted in product-marketing roles for a range of companies including Nortel, Fujitsu, Extreme and Cisco. He has taken an active interest in data-communications trends and technologies both for enterprises and service providers. His 20 years of professional experience include application development, and training and product management for compilers and system software tools. Sardella has a BA in Liberal Arts and Computer Science from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and a MA in Humanities from San Francisco State University.
