Executive Director, Social Media
Cox Communications

Social media maven Naide has been busy. He led Cox’s 500% Facebook fan growth in one year, including 100,000 gleaned from partnerships around popular TV shows and personalities including Oprah Winfrey, AMC’s “Walking Dead,” HBO’s “Game of Thrones” and Fox’s “American Idol.” He executed the first MSO acquisition campaign on Twitter, the “Tweet to Win” Tweetstakes that used Twitter to acquire new customers by answering trivia questions around big social media events like the Super Bowl and Oscars. He also recently launched a blog designed to help small and midsize businesses called CoxBlue, powered by Cox Business.

What’’s your favorite digital toy and why? My iPhone. I can access Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, G+, Pinterest, Instagram plus games, music and email from one device! Oh yeah, did I say it was a phone too?

The biggest challenge with TV Everywhere/authentication is: No one can remember their login. We should allow folks to log in with Facebook Connect.

When it comes to digital trends, what’’s something the kids are doing today that we’ll all be doing tomorrow? Kids are viewing content from any size device. They don’t distinguish between screens.

If you were wearing Google’’s new Project Glass eyewear right now, what would be on your screen? Some relaxing music, and a feed of what my friends were up to.

Without social media, the world would be just a little bit: More boring!! But we’d all get a lot more sleep!

What’’s on your wish list for the iPhone 5? I’d like the battery to last a lot longer with location turned on, Facebook integrated into IOS, email better integrated with messaging, and Siri dead!

If you could only “pin” 3 photos on Pinterest, what would they be? My 50 boxes of cereal, my family and my dog.

Would you rather own a flying car or a jetpack —and why? A flying car would help me navigate Atlanta rush hour traffic much better.
