In 2010, in honor of his late uncle, Professor Tony Judt, he rode a bike cross-country from Astoria, OR, to Brighton Beach, NY, for “Project ALS,” a charity that raises awareness and funds for the neurodegenerative disease. The pic above is of Saul and Tony. His uncle passed a week after they arrived in Brighton Beach, Saul tells us. The campaign was called MOVE FOR ALS. Saul also plays soccer in his spare time and skis as a certified instructor. When he’s not being active, Saul plays the guitar. Recently he played at the wedding of his best friend, Charlie Fink of the indie band “Noah and the Whale.”
