Comcast’s VP of the South Valley technical operations group, Joe Bell, loves sports. “My favorite sport is football and I’ve had the pleasure of coaching for the last 5 years in a head coach capacity,” he tells us. Above, you can see the kids he coaches—a team which has also won multiple championships.

After moving to Mississippi last year, Joe was asked to coach a baseball team of 11 year-olds. “I’ve never played baseball and really don’t like the sport that much but did it because I missed coaching the kids and the great feeling of accomplishment that it gave me by seeing them develop personally and athletically.” His team ended up winning the Mississippi State baseball championships, turning Joe and his 11-year-old son into avid baseball fans.
