Check out the first ever FAA-authorized use of UAV video (i.e. drones) for news-gathering. Taken by CNN, the drone shots give us aerial views of Selma, Alabama’s, Edmund Pettis Bridge. The footage aired on New Day Friday morning, just ahead of the weekend’s 50th anniversary of the 54-mile civil rights march from Selma to Montgomery.
