A consortium of vendors within the Z-Wave Alliance today are debuting at The Cable Show a solution set for MSOs designed to jumpstart SMA (Security-Monitoring-Automation) service rollouts. The solution will be on display as part of CableNET (Booth #3735). The pre-integrated set of hardware and software products is designed to enable the turnkey, cost-effective, and reliable deployment of SMA services for new monthly recurring revenue streams beyond the increasingly price-commoditized triple play of video-voice-Internet access service bundles. In addition, these SMA services reduce subscriber churn as a "sticky" solution deployed throughout the home while also responding to consumer demand for personalized security, energy conservation, and connected lifestyle solutions.
