The NJ Nets are expected to announce that legendary Knicks announcer Marv Albert will be the new voice of the team on YES Net. The NY Post reports Albert will call about 50 games next year, although the length of the announcer’s pact remains unclear. MSG/Cablevision chief Jim Dolan fired Albert reportedly because the Knicks’ play-by-play voice for 4 decades refused to temper his on-air criticism of the hometown 5.
