WOW!, a triple-play operator in Illinois, Michigan, Indiana and Ohio, has selected Evolution Digital universal digital terminal adapters (uDTAs) for deployment starting this month. WOW! is transitioning to an all-digital environment to reclaim bandwidth for the launch of more HD channels and other advanced services. The company is utilizing Evolution uDTAs to support their customers on the all-digital platform.

Evolution’s uDTAs will operate on WOW!’s existing Cisco network.

Evolution Digital has launched a new turnkey factory-to-home fulfillment program in 2011 in which Evolution will manage the DTA deployment logistics to the operators’ specifications. In WOW!’s case, Evolution will be managing shipping from the factory, sorting and assigning DTAs in their 30,000-square-foot facility in Centennial, Colo. From there, Evolution will work with existing logistics and shipping partners to utilize regional hubs to deliver DTAs to WOW! customers directly in a customer branded, complete WOW! Self Install Kit.
