Former FX, GSN and NBC Uni pr hand Steve Webster was sentenced to 3 years probation and ordered to pay $22,607 in restitution after pleading no contest to charges he illegally wiretapped weekly staff meetings at FX for more than 2 1/2 years after he left the company. LA County Court Judge Norman Shapiro handed down the sentence Tues. Webster faced up to 3 years in prison for his eavesdropping, which was allegedly used as a means to disseminate sensitive information about his former network and boss, FX pres/CEO Peter Liguori. VOD: Cablevision boosted its VOD slate, adding 30 hours of here! TV to its roster for a fee of $6.95/month.
