About 98% of Adelphia subs in Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Martin and St. Lucie Counties are without cable and HSD because-duh!-the majority of them don’t have power. Cable’s recovery plans in FL will closely follow FL Power and Light’s push to bring back service. A potential catch: FPL may have to temporarily disconnect in-the-way Adelphia lines to restore power. Adelphia closed its West Palm Beach call center and is re-routing calls. — Worried about next week’s CableFAX Leader’s Retreat in Puerto Rico? Don’t.
