The March 18 all-day Technology Transitions Policy Task Force workshop (GN Docket No. 13-5) at FCC headquarters will feature speakers from the agency along with the following panels: Technological Capabilities (reps from academia plus Calix, Alcatel-Lucent and CableLabs), Usage and Adoption and Network Evolution (reps from Verizon, Frontier Communications Corp., Qualcomm, XO Communications and Cox). The workshop is open to the public, and it also will be streamed on the FCC’s Web site.
