Buoyed by the popularity of the NFL Net’s VOD service on Comcast last year, several MSOs signed on for the service this season. The operators gained access to the VOD programming through a multi-year distribution deal TVN signed with the network. MSOs on board include: Armstrong, Bresnan, Buckeye, Blue Ridge, Charter, CC Comm, Click, Consolidated, Cox, Hargray, Insight, INS, Metrocast, Patriot, RCN, Shrewsbury, Sunflower, Vista III and Wave. NFL Net will have access to TVN’s ADONISS advanced asset management system. — In Demand tapped Doug Goodstein as exec producer of the upcoming Howard Stern On Demand SVOD offering (launches Nov). Goodstein was with E!’s "Howard Stern Show" for its entire 11-year run.
