Videotron announced it is beginning the last phase of testing of its new 3.75G Advanced Wireless Services (AWS) network. The tests designed to ensure service quality and refine all facets of the customer experience will continue until the network goes into operation. An experienced in-house team has been assigned to carry out the final tests of the system’s operational implementation and technological reliability.

“We are already beginning extensive testing with about a hundred selected individuals, of the entire customer experience, covering both services and products,” said Robert Dépatie, president and CEO of Videotron, in a statement.

Build-out of the AWS network is progressing quickly. Videotron has chosen a number of locations across Québec for the tests and will use the process to review all its planned mobile services and the benefits it will offer its future mobile customers.
