Videotron is increasing the file transfer limit on its basic Internet service from 2 Gb to 3 Gb as of April 1.

The announcement follows on the heels of the increase in the speed of the service from 600 Kbps to 1 Mbps at the beginning of March. The speed and file transfer increases are designed to match customers’ greater Internet use and new usage habits.

Verizon, NYC Reach Settlement
