Group VP, Operations Planning

Time Warner Cable

It’s always busy, busy for Fiala, whose recent achievements include the migration of more than a million voice subscribers to the Time Warner Cable network. Operations planning for TWC’s digital phone service suits her just fine. Her favorite part of the job? “It is the continuous learning and changing of our industry, as well as the coaching and mentoring of women to help them become industry leaders in the future,” she says.

What’s your favorite part of your job?
It is the continuous learning and changing of our industry, as well as the coaching and mentoring of women to help them become industry leaders in the future.

How do you define success in the workplace?
It’s about helping my team members accomplish their goals, while adding value, working more efficiently and reducing operational costs.

Who would you want to swap jobs with for a month and why?

I just went on a riverboat cruise down the Mississippi, so today I would like to be a riverboat captain. Meeting new and interesting people every day, exploring different cities and just enjoying the beauty of nature.
