Viacom’s 4Q revenue climbed 9% to $2.72bln, thanks chiefly to higher ad sales at MTVN. Its profit fell 68% to $129.5mln due to separation cost related to its split from CBS and severance costs. The cable nets’ earnings rose 15% to $713mln and rev increased 16% to $2bln. But films from Viacom’s Paramount division dragged results.
