Weighing fewer than 2.2 pounds, the new CX150-D3+ and CX180-D3+ from VeEX are portable handheld testers to verify and provision 8×4 channel bonding used in high bandwidth DOCSIS 3.0 CATV networks. An integrated, dual band DOCSIS 3.0/EuroDOCSIS 3.0 modem, supporting data rates of up to 120 Mbps Upstream and 400 Mbps (Annex A) or 320 Mbps (Annex B) Downstream, enables service providers and installation contractors to evaluate high-speed Internet, and related multimedia service offerings to residential, mobile backhaul and business customers.

Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) addressing is fully supported while both units are backwards compatible with earlier DOCSIS 2.0/1.1 systems. Service engineers and technicians can perform high bandwidth Ethernet/IP throughput tests via high-speed WAN (DOCSIS 3.0) and/or LAN (10/100/100BaseT) interfaces.
