Ubee Interactive has surpassed the 2 million mark on DOCSIS 3.0 units shipped worldwide. This illustrates a 100 percent growth rate in half a year as Ubee declared the 1 million mark in August 2010.

As of February 24, CableLabs has certified 37 D3 modems from 15 suppliers as well as 19 eMTAs from eight equipment makers. Ubee Interactive leads the pack with 10 approved devices.

Dr. Lin, CEO at Ubee said in a statement, "A mega trend is having Wi-Fi capabilities integrated into DOCSIS 3.0 devices. Wi-Fi provides strong networking capabilities for ever increasing smart devices such as smart phones and tablets, which in turn increases service offerings and competitive advantages to the MSOs."
