Time Warner Cable Media Sales and Verizon have announced an agreement for TWC’s Media Sales group to sell regional TV advertising in the New York City, Los Angeles and Dallas markets on behalf of Verizon FiOS TV. With this agreement, TWC Media Sales will sell ads across over 50 ad-supported cable networks like TBS, USA and ESPN HD and increase its household reach by over 30 percent in some markets.

“Our advertising partners look to us to improve the process – add reach and enhance their ability to connect with their customers using the very latest advanced advertising features,” said Joan Gillman, president of TWC Media Sales, in a statement. "We are delighted to add FiOS TV to our current partners like Cox Communications, Charter Communications and DirecTV.”

Verizon’s current ad sales representative in these markets, Viamedia, will manage the integration process and continue to represent all FiOS TV advertising business in these markets until that integration is complete. Post-integration, Viamedia will manage the day-to-day relationship with the interconnects on behalf of Verizon, and represent FiOS in these markets for all local zone advertising sales.

NCC, the nation’s largest spot cable sales organization, will manage multi-market buys on both the Time Warner Cable and FiOS TV services for national advertisers.
