Time Warner Cable has launched wideband Internet in North Texas.

Available initially to customers in Carrolton, Flower Mound, Plano, Grapevine, Bedford and Lewisville, wideband will be launching to all of TWC’s customers in North Texas in the coming months.

Time Warner Cable residential customers can receive speeds up to 50 Mbps downstream and 5 Mbps upstream for $99.95 per month.

Combining the company’s fiber-optic network with DOCSIS 3.0 technology, TWC’s wideband Internet provides download speeds twice as fast as the company’s fastest broadband service.

Included with TWC’s wideband Internet is wireless capability, which provides the convenience of mobility within the home.  Customers also have the ability to connect up to five devices simultaneously.
