Time Warner Cable is the latest MSO to announce DOCSIS 3.0 wideband. Howard Szarfarc, EVP of TWC’s New York City region unveiled the company’s wideband Internet today for NYC customers. This is the first Time Warner Cable market to offer wideband Internet, and it will compete with Verizon’s FiOS and Cablevision.

The DOCSIS 3.0 service offers a top tier with 50 Mbps downstream/ 5 Mbps upstream for $99.95 per month.
