Not only is Time Warner Cable threatening to drop The Outdoor Channel in some markets, but it apparently is replacing it with TOC competitor The Sportsman Channel in some areas. Sportsman will launch on TW systems in SW TX (end of Mar) and Lincoln, NE (end of Apr). TW is threatening to drop TOC in NE, San Antonio, Austin and TW’s SW division. Sportsman says other TW systems have expressed interest in adding the net shortly. It recently launched in Milwaukee/Green Bay (TW), Tucson (Comcast) and Indy (Bright House).
