Triveni Digital has released a low-cost version of the StreamScope MT-40 monitor, a solution for real-time analysis and verification of DTV transport streams. It is designed to facilitate end-to-end MPEG-2/MPEG-4 transport stream monitoring and analysis for DTV signals carried by broadcast, cable, satellite, IPTV, or mobile networks.

Triveni will be showcasing the new model at the 2009 NAB Show. It features two PCI card slots intended to enable broadcasters to select two input types best suited for their operation. It also features reduced size and weight, as well as an optional battery-equipped unit.

It supports RF (8-VSB/QAM), SMPTE 310, ASI, QPSK, and file inputs. It also supports Gigabit Ethernet (GigE) for non real-time PCR analyses. It includes deep packet inspection and is designed to monitor, alarm, troubleshoot, record, and measure DTV transport streams in order to ensure their integrity, reliability, and compliance with standards (ATSC, ATSC A/78, SCTE 35, SCTE 18).
