Canada’s TELUS will install the Fujitsu Flashwave 9500 Packet Optical Networking Platform (Packet ONP) on its network to meet demand for high-speed data services, Internet video services and increased mobile data. Comments Zouheir Mansourati, vice president/TELUS Fixed Network Planning & Engineering, “Additionally, by utilizing the Flashwave 9500 Packet ONP for 100G connectivity, TELUS can deliver a high level of service while achieving more efficient regional network utilization, better cost per gigabit of IP traffic and lower operating cost.”
