VP, Chief Information Security Officer
Time Warner Cable
Risky Business isn’t just a movie to Moskites. It’s her job, given that she and her team manage IT risks within TWC. Her key accomplishments include shepherding the consolidation of the Information Security and IT Compliance organizations. Ask with whom she’d temporarily swap jobs, and she quickly points to the MSO’s customer care reps. “I have a passion for solving problems and feel a great deal of satisfaction in making the customer happy,” she says.
What’s your favorite part of your job?
My job! Through creativity, partnership, business enablement, dedication and absolutely loving what I do each and every day, I am passionate about positioning Time Warner Cable, our employees and my teams to be the role models for others.
Best trick for maintaining the personal-professional life balance?
Force yourself to be in charge of yourself, personally and professionally. My plate is overflowing at work, at home and in the community; therefore many things compete for my time—so the need to lay it all out in black and white is the best way (although it can be overwhelming to see it all in one place)! It is important to decide what to keep and what to discard so that I can find that time for balance.
Who would you want to swap jobs with for a month and why?
I would love to swap jobs with our customer care representatives. I love dealing with customers. I have a passion for solving problems and feel a great deal of satisfaction in making the customer happy. I mostly enjoy the interaction with people and find no problem answering even the most trivial questions. I get a deep sense of satisfaction when solving problems or helping customers out in one way or another and knowing that they are satisfied!
