D&E Communications, a provider of integrated communications services in central and eastern Pennsylvania, plans to expand its residential broadband portal to customers in Central Pennsylvania using Synacor’s content and technology portfolio.

Under the agreement, D&E will launch a suite of products designed to provide customers with increased functionality and a range of relevant premium content. D&E will utilize Synacor’s customizable broadband portal, value-added services and proprietary technology platform to power the new broadband environment. D&E will utilize Synacor’s customizable portals to serve as the primary site for consumer services, including news, weather, gaming and other interactive features.

D&E offers residential voice, video, high-speed broadband and on-site computer support services as well as business-class networking, business continuity, IT, security, voice and training solutions.
