At SCTE’s Cable-Tec Expo in Denver and at Telco TV in Orlando, Jim Brandt, director of TV/video for Synacor, will speak about how existing solutions for authenticating Web content to cable operators’ high speed data customers can be expanded to entitle subscribers to view cable video programming on the PC.

"The industry has recognized that ‘TV Everywhere’ can increase consumer choice, monetize programming on the PC and build the value of cable and IPTV operators’ service bundles," said Brandt in a statement. "What’s equally important, however, is that the industry adopts solutions that can be deployed quickly and that can provide an intuitive, universal experience for every subscriber."

Synacor’s "TV Everywhere" approach utilizes the company’s single sign-on technology to create a common user experience, whether subscribers are requesting programming from the operator or programmer website.
