Kalle’s ability to develop and lead new business came in handy as her team launched three cable channels during the past several months. In addition to two Canadian channels in partnership with Hollywood Suite Inc., Kalle bowed Cine Sony, which features movies and TV series from Sony’s vast catalog dubbed or subtitled in Spanish. No wonder she says the favorite part of her job is to “break new ground and look for ways to expand the reach of the company’s new business ventures.”
What’s your favorite part of your job?
I love that I am able to break new ground and look for ways to expand the reach of the company’s new business ventures, like our new digi-net getTV.
Best trick for maintaining the personal-professional life balance?
Trying to find the balance between personal and professional responsibilities is certainly challenging, however, the key to success is a really good support structure at home and work.
Who would you want to swap jobs with for a month and why?
I would like to switch places with Venus Williams when she’s competing on the court. I am an amateur tennis player and I love to play whenever I can and to be able to have her stamina, skills and command of the court for just one day – would be utterly amazing.
