Sunrise Telecom today announced the next generation of its CM2000 cable modem network analyzer with SNMP and Telnet testing, integrated FTP and new options for a CAD viewer and signature capture. The new tools combine with an Internet Explorer Web browser previously only available on an adjunct laptop.

SNMP and Telnet allow technicians to query network devices and make configuration changes directly from the field. The FTP client lets files be moved between the CM2000 and a central server without a computer. A Wi-Fi adapter option allows access to management and back office systems and provides a tool for troubleshooting in-home wireless networks.
