CTAM plans to move Summit to the fall in 2010 (Cfax, 7/17), but there’s a chance the conference could move to autumn as early as 2009. Judging by hallway chatter at Summit yesterday, folks are thrilled with the change. Also receiving kudos was this year’s decision to start the show on a Monday instead of Sunday. CTAM is exploring whether it could renegotiate its 2009 contract in Boston, but for now Summit is scheduled for July 20-23, 2009. Next year, the show heads to DC (July 23-25) and to Denver in 2008 (July 21-23). — MTV Nets received the most CTAM Mark awards last night, winning 19 awards (8 gold, 11 silver). Turner was 2nd, with 16 awards. Comcast and Time Warner tied for the most awards among a cable company with 9 each. Cablevision followed with 6 awards. TNT’s "Into the West" won the highest honor, the "Top of the Mark" award. For the complete list of winners, visit http://www.markawards.com.
