Mark Cuban is trying a new tact to get Comcast to carry HDNet and HDNet Movies. His Landmark Theater chain will not distribute any of Comcast/IFC’s day-and-date VOD films until Comcast carries his nets. "We have had some great conversations and at times [Comcast has] seemed very excited about picking up our networks," Cuban told CableFAX. "If and when this happens, all these issues go away…We aren’t going to subsidize these [IFC] releases so that the greatest values go to companies that are not partners of ours."
