The National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA) Cable Show 2012 will be held May 21-23, at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center and will  be co-chaired by Phil Kent, chairman and CEO of Turner Broadcasting System and Neil Smit, president, Comcast Cable Communications.

"Phil Kent and Neil Smit are visionaries in the cable industry, and we are grateful for their leadership in building cable’s annual platform for inspiring and highlighting innovative new products and services that cable is delivering to American consumers," said Michael Powell, president and CEO, NCTA, in a statement.

The Cable Show 2012 marks the first time this event has been held in Boston, home to some of the country’s most influential figures in technology, media investment and academia.

"Boston is an incredible innovation and intellectual ecosystem, and home to some of America’s best universities, thought leaders and visionaries. It’s a perfect city to demonstrate the cutting-edge distribution technologies being developed by our industry and the amazing, award-winning content that consumers value," said Smit.
