Cable World’s Simon Applebaum tells us what he’s liked and what he hasn’t from the 1st month of cable’s upfront season ’06. Best Performance: Andre "3000" Benjamin’s theme to his upcoming Cartoon Network series "Class of 3000." Disappointing Performance: SoapNet held its debut upfront event, but didn’t bring any of its soap stars, or at least it didn’t point them out in the crowd. Most Promising Show: Oxygen’s action/adventure "Banshee" movie. Best Move: Disney made "Jetix" exclusive to Toon Disney this fall, instead of sharing it with ABC Family. Next Upfronts: Nick and Nat Geo Channel Thurs.
