Sigma Systems announced at Management World 2010 that its Service Management Platform has received TM Forum certification for Order Management API and Web services-certified next-generation OSS framework. The certification establishes Sigma Systems as the first OSS provider to fully interoperate with other certified BSS and CRM vendors.

The OSS/J order management API – called Information Framework JSR-264 – is the only open standards-based API interface available for order management solution providers. This new TM Forum API eases interoperability among back-office and CRM vendors, resulting in speedier service rollouts, improved operational efficiencies and reductions in deployment costs by as much as 30 percent.
