S-A is demo-ing its new "MCP-100" Media Center DVR, which comes complete with a built-in DVD burner, at its booth (#6158). Digeo COO Berte Kolde also introduced the "Moxie II," the company’s 2nd-generation media center that will hit the streets in 4Q under the banner of co-conspirator Samsung. The Samsung Home Media Center is appreciably smaller than the 1st incarnation of Moxie and features Digeo’s proprietary "X-Stream" chipset. — Tech guru David Gregg will demo some of cable’s hottest apps as part of a special CTAM telecast that will be seen in 20 US markets tomorrow. The presentation will also highlight CTAM’s "OnlyCableCan" initiative.
