The deployment of the Xfinity Remote, which enables the search and discovery of video content from iPads and other mobile devices, is one exciting example of her execution excellence. “My favorite part of the job is working with my team,” she says. “I get to work with an awesome team that deploys thousands of video infrastructure components and deploys software to millions of set-top boxes that enables cool video experiences for our customers.”
What’s your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of the job is working with my team. I get to work with an awesome team that deploys thousands of video infrastructure components and deploys software to millions of set-top boxes that enables cool video experiences for our customers. From conditional access gear, to cloud infrastructure for applications like guides for the TV and cloud DVR to store their favorite programs, my team operationalizes video deployment that consistently provides predictability, speed, quality and efficiency for our business and the customer. They make me proud every day.
How do you define success in the workplace?
I define success in the workplace as continual cultivation of my three d’s plus t mission. Direction, for the vision of where I see myself in the company, 5 to 10 years from now; Definition, in my always defining and achieving my goals; Determination, in building my strengths and resiliency in navigate my course; and Timing in how I use it to build relationships that provide support and collaboration toward achieving success.
Who would you want to swap jobs with for a month and why?
I would want to swap jobs with Charisse Lillie, VP, Community Investments for Comcast Corporate, President of Comcast Foundation. Charisse leads the largest giving organization in the cable industry. Giving and making the difference in the communities we serve is a big responsibility. She is impacting the community in such a positive way from Girls and Boys Club to US FIRST Robotics. The Comcast Foundation changes lives and garners our employee volunteers and charitable partners to make a difference. I would be thrilled to sit in this role knowing all efforts in this role were bettering the communities we serve.
