Sencore and Wegener Corporation have entered into a non-binding letter of intent regarding a possible acquisition of Wegener by Sencore. The $6 million acquisition, if completed, would result in a combined content delivery company. Wegener products are used in broadcast, telco and cable networks to distribute video and audio content. Sencore provides signal monitoring and analysis, and video/audio distribution equipment for broadcast, satellite, cable and telco. The non-binding letter of intent is included as an exhibit to a Form 8-K filing Wegener is making with the Securities and Exchange Commission today. (For more on Wegener, click here).
