To help combat cable service theft, Secure Signals Inc. has launched a Service Theft Resource Center at www.securesignals.com/servicetheftresourcecenter.htm.

The site features facts about federal laws; strategies to identify, reduce and prevent cable and IP piracy; links to relevant news articles; and free resources including a consumer fact sheet and bill stuffer that cable operators can download and customize to educate consumers about cable theft’s negative impact on paying customers and their communities. The site also features a letter to pirates that Secure Signals developed to jump-start the process to convert pirates into paying customers.
