On Demand Group, a SeaChange International company, has established a video content factory in London. On Demand Group’s new headquarters and technical facility provides cable, IPTV and mobile operators with comprehensive content processing, production and business services that bring on-demand video to every consumer platform.

Tony Kelly, On Demand Group CEO, commented: “Our move puts us in control of our own asset processing and creative production capability for the first time, differentiating the SeaChange companies even further in the fast moving digital TV, broadband and mobile markets.  It underpins our mission for enabling a seamless three-screen video-on-demand experience across set-top boxes, PCs and mobile phones.” ??On Demand Group develops and manages the on-demand businesses of service providers such as Virgin Media, Telekom Austria, Unity Media, O2 and 3 UK.

On Demand Group facilities ingest tape or file-based assets obtained through movie and television studio partnerships, and supply stream-ready content in a wide range of HD and SD consumer formats including MPEG-2, MPEG-4, MXF, FLV, WMV and QuickTime.
