SeaChange International has appointed Georges Dabaghi to the new position of general manager to oversee Middle East regional sales and market development for its content management subsidiary, On Demand Group.

Dabaghi will establish a Middle East base office in Dubai Media City, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

This announcement closely follows UAE integrated telecom service provider du’s IPTV video-on-demand service launch, which is fully managed by On Demand Group. (For more, click here).

Dabaghi joins On Demand Group directly from a four-year post as Middle East and Africa sales director with Motorola’s IPTV-focused unit.

In his new job, he will also support opportunities for regional deployment of SeaChange IPTV middleware and video servers, three-screen video solutions and on-demand software products of eventIS, a SeaChange company.
