The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers has announced a new, seven-week, facilitated online course: "IPv6: Impact on Cable Networks." The course has been developed in partnership with Cisco Systems.

The course, which will provide an overview of the capabilities and roles of IPv6 and DOCSIS 3.0 in the cable network management process, has been designed to help cable engineers and technical professionals understand the impact of IPv6, as well as the features and benefits that are expected to accompany the adoption of the protocol.

The course will begin May 24.  Registration is through April 30 at http://www.scte.org/ipv6.
