The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) is seeking applications for the third annual SCTE Technology Challenge to be conducted during SCTE Canadian Summit 2012, which will take place in late March in Toronto. Selected solutions shaping the future of the cable industry will be introduced and demonstrated during the SCTE Technology Challenge.

The Challenge will highlight the newest products and technologies operators can leverage to: deliver leading-edge services; improve operational efficiency; and increase the overall value of the services delivered to customers.

The deadline to apply is Friday, Jan. 13, 2012.

The SCTE Technology Challenge Selection Committee will choose five companies to present live demonstrations during the annual SCTE Canadian Summit. The Summit audience will vote to determine which of the five competing companies has demonstrated the “Technology Most Likely to Succeed.” ARRIS and SeaChange International garnered the honor in 2010 and 2011, respectively.
