We don’t mean to geek out on you, but just a heads up that the SCTE Cable-Tec Expo 2013 Program Committee is looking for abstracts addressing the evolution of cable networks, services and business processes to be presented during Cable-Tec Expo Oct. 21-24 in Atlanta. Suggested subtopics include Network Evolution (technology, architecture, wireless/integrated, management, security, energy efficiency), Service Evolution (video, IPv6, advanced home networks and services, software and apps, user interfaces) and Business Evolution (customer care/billing, business services, big data, workforce, competitive strategies).

And here’s how to “enter”… Provide a one-page abstract (300 words) identifying the overall theme and subtopic heading as well as whether the audience is customer facing, engineering or business/management personnel. The deadline is April 12, and presenters will be notified by June 7. Got questions? Call Glenda Calcaterra at 610-594-7323 or 800-542-5040, ext. 7323.
