Two international events, the SCTE Canadian Summit 2012 and a pre-conference Wireless Symposium, now are set for March 26-28 in Toronto.

The events are scheduled for the Toronto Congress Centre, and both will feature industry thought leaders as well as Canadian Summit exhibits of products and solutions.

“The technological changes that face the cable telecommunications industry today are truly global,” says Tony Faccia, vice president/Wireline Access Networks for Rogers Communications and program chair for SCTE Canadian Summit 2012. “SCTE Canadian Summit increasingly is becoming a driver of international learning that will help the entire industry to capitalize on the opportunities ahead.”

A dozen Summit sessions include 24 experts from the operator and vendor communities. Session topics so far address advanced advertising, business services, cloud-based services, content delivery networks, HFC capacity, HFC reliability, home networking, IP video, network planning, sustainability, video quality and wireless access.

Registration information for both the March 26 Wireless Symposium and the March 27-28 Canadian Summit is available at www.scte.org/summit. Those who choose to attend both will get a discount.
