After successfully guiding the launch of the Xfinity Latino Entertainment Channel, Mendiola has been building up steam for the platform with increased content. Relying on a growing mix of Central and South American programming, the channel has increased the company’s Hispanic programming penetration by a whopping 50%. Mendiola says that supporting a diverse workplace leads to success in other areas. “Embracing these differences makes us better and strong,” he says, “This translates to our working atmosphere, the programming we curate, our community outreach efforts and much more.”
