Move Networks, a provider of Internet TV services, has hired Roxanne Austin as president and CEO. She also joins the company’s board of directors effective immediately.

“We are extremely fortunate to have Ms. Austin lead Move Networks and its vision to set the standard for a ‘true’ television experience delivered over the Internet as well as by IPTV,” said Drew Major, founder of Move Networks.

Since 2004, Austin has been president of Austin Investment Advisors, a private investment and consulting firm focused on new media and technology. Previously, Austin was president and COO of DirecTV.

Move Networks delivers Internet television for networks, including ABC, ESPN, and Fox.
