On March 31, Rogers Communications will launch its expanded wireless voice and data network across the province of Manitoba. New customers will be able to switch to Rogers and have access to devices including iPhone, Android, BlackBerry and tablets. Existing Rogers customers will be able to upgrade to the latest devices and take advantage of the greater geographic reach, which will now cover 96 percent of the Manitoba population.

Rogers already offers service in Winnipeg and southern Manitoba and is expanding into Manitoba’s northern communities while, at the same time, upgrading the existing Rogers’ coverage footprint in Manitoba to high-speed 3G+/HSPA+.

In addition to improved quality of voice coverage, this new 3G+/HSPA+ network will provide Manitobans with mobile Internet service at download speeds of up to 21 Mbps.
