At IBC 2010, RGB Networks and SeaChange International are leveraging their successful partnership to show operators how they can deploy their linear channel line-ups to TVs, PCs and mobile devices and retain complete control of the ad insertion process while doing so. The demonstration shows how RGB’s Video Multiprocessing Gateway (VMGTM) and SeaChange’s Spot linear ad insertion system can be deployed in tandem to enable operators to seamlessly extend their digital ad insertion capabilities beyond the television to multiple device types using the well-established TV ad ecosystem.

RGB’s high-capacity, high-availability VMG uniquely integrates advanced transcoding, essential for the delivery of real-time programming across TVs, PCs and mobile devices, with seamless ad splicing. When coupled with SeaChange’s Spot system, operators can benefit from an integrated multi-screen transcoding and ad insertion solution controlled and delivered by a unified back office infrastructure. Set-top box, iPad, iPhone and PC Flash 10.1 clients, all receiving live streamed video services with ad insertion, will also be demonstrated.
