Should Viacom split into 2 companies (the MTV half and the CBS half), look for CBS broadcasters to seek cash for carriage in retrans deals. That was the message from Viacom’s Les Moones, who spoke at Deutsche Bank’s media conference Mon. "It’s a new day and I want to get paid for my programming," he said. Most CBS deals don’t expire for another 3-5 years.
