Hispanics represent fertile business ground for cable ops, according to SNL Kagan, which estimates that 72% of households in this fast-growing US ethnic group had a multichannel subscription on ’07, compared to 88% for the entire country. The firm postulates an 11% gain in Hispanic TV HHs by ’11, to 13.4mln, and 11.5% growth in Hispanic multichannel homes over the same period to 9.7mln.
